A Message from the President

President Valerie Mattison Brown

Greetings & Welcome to the Columbia Maryland Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated (JJOA) website.

Our chapter was chartered on December 4, 1970, and I am honored to continue its rich history as the 25th President of this three-time award winning Five Star Chapter of Excellence and Chapter of the Year. With 53 years of service to the Howard County community, the Columbia Chapter’s efforts ensure that we achieve the JJOA mission of nurturing future African-American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty; and it is our belief that we are better together, committed to caring for our children and our community.

Through our exceptional programming, signature Beautillion, book scholarships and community giving our mothers and families are dedicated to nurturing future leaders for success. On behalf of the Columbia Maryland Chapter, we thank you for your interest in and support of our chapter.

"Long Live Jack and Jill"
